Mitch Jackson, a second-year piano student at Rockwall HS, will be competing at the state level of PTA Reflections for his original music composition.
60,000 students across the state of Texas participate and less than 3 percent advance to the state level. If Mitch advances beyond state, he will compete at the national level and judged by professional composers.
