Rockwall-Heath Men’s Gymnastics Team recently travelled to Phoenix Arizona to compete in the National Championship. The team is comprised of seniors Diego Acosta, David Milner and Blake Williams.
“All three had a fantastic competition and represented our school well at the national meet,” said James A. Pershin Jr., head coach boy's gymnastics. “I couldn't be prouder of the dedication the athletes have shown to our program. I've truly enjoyed watching them mature over the years into the outstanding young men they have become.”
Diego placed 2nd on floor, 3rd on pommel, 10th on rings, 10th on vault, 6th on pbars, 3rd on high bar and 5th all-around, placing in the top 10 in all six events he competed.
David tied 7th on rings, 4th on vault, 4th on pbars and 10th all-around. Blake placed 12th on floor.
