RHS Jacket TV students recently mentored Stevenson SAGE students in 3-6 grade, learning about journalism, photography, videoing, interviewing and finding good stories.
“They really gave me a greater insight on how to work with cameras and tips about how to interview,” said Jorge Capella, fifth grader. “They are awesome!”
Stevenson students plan to use these skills as part of a project to learn more about the stories of students at their own school and beyond.
This project is modeled after the famous Humans of New York, and is part of a grant that was funded by Rockwall ISD Education Foundation.
