This past November, Mrs. Sanford's class at Nebbie Williams wrote a thank you e-book to honor veterans. They posted the e-book on their blog and invited veterans in Korea, Virginia and Texas to view it and comment.
Staff Sgt. Watson, Roland Harter’s mother, saw the e-book and wanted to say thank you to the class for honoring veterans.
She ordered each student a water bottle with the army logo on it and presented the students with the gift when she visited the class this month.
