Stevenson students and teachers recently worked together to help a school in need after Hurricane Harvey.
After collecting, seven boxes of school supplies, $300 in Amazon gift cards and $755 in donations, Mrs. Cooper hand-delivered the items to Jacinto City Elementary in Houston.
Later, Jacinto City students joined a Google Hangout to speak with Stevenson students. Students were able to ask about how the hurricane impacted them and what challenges they have faced during the recovery.
Jacinto City was so grateful for the generosity of students thinking of others and taking action to help.
