Rockwall ISD Second Grade SAGE students recently visited the Rockwall County Court House. The students were given a tour of the courthouse by Rockwall District Attorneys and courthouse staff.
The students visited Judge Russo's courtroom where he shared what he was responsible for and how court proceedings worked.
The students then enjoyed a mock trial put on the Rockwall ISD's SAGE teachers where Goldilocks was tried for trespassing. The trial concluded with all students acting as the jury and finding Goldilocks guilty.
Students enjoyed their lunch in Liberty Hall and finished out the field trip with a divergent thinking activity involving Rapunzel escaping her tower.
