Math class took a hands-on, discovery approach to determine the formula for volume.
Mrs. Esch, 5th grade math teacher, asked students to figure out the volume formula by building their own 3D shapes and then filling it with centimeter cubes. She reports that the students were successful, and, “I love that students were able to figure out the formula for volume all on their own!”
