Rockwall ISD ROCK Program to Offer STEAM Classes January 22 – April 20

The Rockwall ISD ROCK Program will offer Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) experiences with teacher specialists in K-2 and 3-6 to support each student’s level of understanding of the lesson topic. 

 Classes begin the week of January 22 and go through the end of April.  Cost is $30 per class, payable monthly.

 The last week of April (23-27) will be for any make-up classes needed due to holidays, bad weather, etc.

 Some of the topics for this semester include: building a Lava Lamp/Rainbow and a Propeller-Powered Car; Designing a marble run, geoside dome, catapult, and slingshot; computer coding and digital design.

 Monday: Jones, Hays, Pullen, Reinhardt and Springer (Grades K-6)

 Wednesday: Hartman, Lyon, Nebbie, Rochell, and Stevenson (Grades K-6)

 Thursday: Amy Parks, CLP, Dobbs and Shannon (Grades K-6)
