Spelling Bee

Pullen Elementary held it's annual spelling bee on Wednesday, Dec. 20th.  Students in grades 4-6 competed in class spelling bees.  The winner from each classroom participated in the school-wide spelling bee.  The competition was fierce but in the end fifth grader Grant Jordan prevailed.  Grant will represent Pullen in the county-wide spelling bee.  Grayson Bybee, a fourth grader, was runner up and will serve as an alternate.  Pullen was pleased to welcome retired sixth grade teacher, Julie Anderson, back to school as our official spelling bee announcer.
