Pullen PTA hosted the Second Annual Chili Cook-Off and Fall Festival. This event is a fun, free, and family friendly event. The cold, windy day that started with a bit of a drizzle on Saturday, October 28th, didn't deter Pullen families from coming out and enjoying a sunny afternoon. Students in the SAGE program engineered games out of cardboard boxes, the Pullen Student Lighthouse Team sponsored the "Sweet Stroll Through the 7 Habits" cake walk and a DJ played catchy tunes that brought all ages out to the dance floor. The PTA provided bounce houses and fall themed games. The SAGE students also constructed a maze. Of course, the big draw is the chili cook-off. This year's contest was won by Sideways BBQ. The winning team recieved a Yeti cooler.
