UMS Student's Artwork Advances to State!

For the first time ever, an Utley Middle school student has been selected to represent Rockwall in the state PTA Reflections contest.  Our very own Lizbeth Aguillon will be advancing this spring in Austin.

 

Every year, students from all over the country participate in this contest, sponsored by each district's local PTA. This year's theme was, "What's Your Story?" Lizbeth's artist statement included ideas about changing the world around her. She beat out approximately 400 other middle school art students in Rockwall. We are all so impressed and proud of her dedication and talent. Way to go Lizbeth!
