This weekend the UMS Drill Team competed at the North TX Regionals Dance Contest. Our girls did amazing!!
Our 7th and 8th grade officers received the Best in Class Award (1st place) for their officer routines in the Middle School Category.
The team received Division 1 ranking with scores of 90+ for all six dances, a Judges Award for their Pom routine, and special recognition for their precision.
We had 3 solo finalists: Sofia Blevins-7, Riley Singleton-7 and Alyssa Salvador-7.
Lastly, out of every team at the competition our girls received the Outstanding Team Award.
