UMS Honors our Veterans

Utley honored our veterans on Friday, November 10, 2017 with a breakfast. Over 150 students along with their veteran guest attended a breakfast in the Utley cafeteria Friday morning. Guests were served breakfast tacos and chips donated by Chiloso and coffee donated by 7-11, owner Tony Mikulski. After eating breakfast, guests along with Utley students and staff, attended the Veterans Day Program in the RHS PAC. Patriotic music was provided by the UMS band, choir and orchestra. Two, students, Siah Maslo and Dailin Camp, wrote essays about "Why it is important to celebrate Veterans Day" that they read at the assembly. Captain Tony Illig, US Air Force was the keynote speaker.
