  • Our Jazz I band WINS TMEA Invitation

The Rockwall High School Jazz I Band was chosen as the Invited Jazz Band for the 2018 Texas Music Educators Association Convention. This is a huge honor and solidifies Rockwall High School Jazz I as one of the top high school jazz ensembles not only in the state of Texas, but in the entire country. TMEA chooses ONE jazz ensemble per year to perform at the convention based on a recorded performance. TMEA invited jazz ensembles are the best of the best from around our state. As a part of this honor, Jazz I will get to perform a concert at the 2018 TMEA Clinic and Convention in February. Congratulations to these fine students and their director, Mr. Beard, on such a tremendous accomplishment. JFND!
