Mrs. Barbara Jecmenek

I am so excited to be at Linda Lyon Elementary this year! My name is Barbara Jecmenek, and I will be teaching 6th grade Math and 6th grade Honors Math this year.  I have previously taught 6th grade at a private school and 4th and 6th grade in Forney.  

I am married to my college sweetheart, and we have two beautiful daughters, Natalie and Jenna, who are both graduates of Heath High School, and both attend Sam Houston State University.  Natalie is a senior, and Jenna is a freshman.  Both my girls were on the Sam Houston State University Orange Pride Dance Team.  Natalie is an alumni of the team, and Jenna is a current member.  We spend a lot of our fall weekends watching the Sam Houston Bearkat football games and our daughters dance at the games!
