Welcome to your child's Fifth Grade English Language Arts Classroom. This is my eighth year teaching at Shannon and my seventeenth year of teaching altogether. My family and I moved to the wonderful town of Rockwall from Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 2013. As a San Diego native, I am happy to be out of the cold Wyoming temperatures and snow. My daughter, Karly, is a senior at Heath High School and swims on the high school team and RACE Club.  I have four quarter horses and two dogs. I love teaching!  

I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.
