I am so excited about this upcoming school year! The kids are so lucky to begin their education at Grace Hartman Elementary.   

Your child is entering pre k and will astound you with all of his/her growth throughout the year. I am pleased and excited to have the opportunity to guide your child through some exciting learning experiences.  I have many goals this year.  First, I want to create a safe and positive environment where the children feel confident about taking risks and exploring.  I also want to begin building the foundation for a love of learning!  If you ever have a concern, question, or just have something you need to let me know about, please email, send a note, or call me as needed.  I will be communicating with you as well to keep you informed of your child’s pre k experiences.

Now, I would like to tell you a little about myself.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University at Commerce.  This year will be my 11^th year teaching in Rockwall; 7 years in Kindergarten and this is my 4th year in Pre K. 

When I am not teaching, my husband Brad and I enjoy spending time with our families, traveling, going to sporting events, watching movies, being outdoors, and taking our two dogs, Spuds and Mackenzie, to the beach.

I am excited and blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love, teach!  I am looking forward to a great year!
