Each student has been given a TUTORING PASS.  They will need to show this pass to the hallway monitors to be allowed in our classrooms for tutoring. 

Mrs. Dennard's bio:

This is my 18th year to teach. I’ve taught 6th and 8th grades Science, Math, Social Studies, Reading and Writing. I’ve been at Shannon 15 years and love being a part of the Shannon team! I actually decided to become a teacher after working in the staffing and technology industries, and told several people that I only wanted to be a teacher if I could be one like Mrs. Shannon was. You see, she was MY HIGH SCHOOL English Teacher! She loved us and made us interested in reading and writing. She made a difference. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to make a small difference in your child’s life this year!

I have been married for 33 years to a wonderful, Godly man and have two sons, Alex and Garrett, as well as a beautiful daughter-in-law, Ashton. They all graduated from Rockwall High School.  Alex is working for the City of Plano in media, and has a passion for working with youth and leading worship.  Garrett recently finished five years as a  Corpsman in the Navy and is now in college to become a Physician's Assistant.  I am SO proud of all of them!  

I tell our students that I will cheer for Heath every week - - EXCEPT when they play Rockwall - - then IT’S ON!  Besides having Rockwall orange blood (with some Baylor green and gold thrown in there), the rest of me is all about my Dallas Cowboys! I am one of the biggest fans you will find!
