Rockwall ISD’s Infrastructure team supports and maintains a safe and efficient network environment, wireless and wired internet access, and telecommunications systems to support the instructional and administrative needs of the District.

Responsibilities:

• District Wide Area Network (WAN) - Internet connection, wireless access, firewall, network electronics, phone systems, internet content filtering and district e-mail.
• Network File Servers - Domain controllers, web servers, business and student databases, time clock, file/print services, food service, and all file server applications.

All Rockwall ISD's campus networks are connected via a fiber network.  This high-speed wide area network allows Rockwall ISD to provide multimedia applications to all campuses and a host of other technologies requiring high-speed connectivity.
