What is edcamp?  

Edcamps are a powerful, innovative professional development specifically designed around what teachers want to learn.  Unlike traditional conferences, edcamp has an agenda that is created by the participants at the start of the event.  Attendees are encouraged to have discussions and hands-on sessions instead of formal presentations.  Attendances to edcamps are voluntary and last year Rockwall ISD’s event drew over 200 teachers and administrators from our district as well as from other school districts in the area.
