    Area Champs

     Lady Jackets vs Rowlett:

    Tonight your Lady Jackets are Area Champions after pulling out a victory versus a very tough Rowlett team.

    The Lady Jackets started out a little slow, causing everyone to look for their blood pressure medication. Late in the fourth, they were able to ease the anxiety level by hitting clutch free throws to win 40-33.

    Leading the way tonight was Faith Mason-Vestal with 12 points. The Lady Jackets now move on to the next round (Regional Quarterfinals) to play Skyline.   

     


    Lady Jackets vs Mesquite:

    • Our Lady Jackets traveled to Mesquite and defeated them 48-30. Leading the way was Faith Mason-Vestal with 16 points, followed by Gloria Drewery with 9 rebounds.

    We are 11-2 in district. 

    • JV was defeated 31-34. Scoring was Kasja Johnson with 12 points.
    • Freshman lost 13-27. Scoring was Anissa Kavazi with 10 points. 

     


    Lady Jackets vs Tyler Lee:

    • Our Lady Jackets traveled to Tyler Lee to take on the Lady Raiders. With the game coming down to the final seconds, your Varsity Lady Jackets lost a heartbreaking game 37-38. Scoring for us was Heather Quisenberry with 11 points.

    We are 10-2 in district. 

    • JV won 32-26. Leading the way was Kasja Johnson with 10 points and 19 rebounds.
    • Freshman lost 29-32. Scoring was Emma Parr with 15 points. 

     


    Lady Jackets vs Mesquite Horn:

    • Varsity faced a very tough Mesquite Horn team. With 7.6 seconds left in the game, down by 2, Rockwall had the ball on the sideline for a chance to win or send the game into overtime. We were unsuccessful, and were defeated 33-35. Scoring a double-double was Jordan Mathis with 11 points and 12 rebounds, followed by Faith Mason-Vestal with 10 points. 

    We are 10-1 in district. 

    • JV wins 35-33. Leading the way was Rachel Ivanovsky with 13 points. 
    • Freshman lost 19-64. Scoring was Emma Parr with 9 points. 

     


     Lady Jackets vs Longview Lobos:

    • Lady Jackets traveled to Longview and beat the Lady Lobos 39-34. Leading the way was Gloria Drewery with 20 points and 9 rebounds, followed by Jordan Mathis with 8 points and 10 rebounds. 

    We are 10-0 in district. 

    • JV was defeated 31-44. Scoring was Rachel Ivanovsky with 16 points. 
    • Freshman lost 23-39. Scoring was Anissa Kavazi with 9 points.

     


    Lady Jackets vs Heath Hawks:

    • Lady Jackets defeated the Lady Hawks 53-38. Leading the way was Mikki Witcher with 13 points, followed by Gloria Drewery with 10 points.

    We are 9-0 in district. 

    • JV was defeated 32-36. Scoring was Rachel Ivanovsky with 10 points. 
    • Freshman lost 38-48. Scoring was Tristan Pettis with 13 points. 

    Lady Jackets vs North Mesquite Stallions:

    The Lady Jackets took a short trip over to North Mesquite and wrangled those Stallions 51-29. The leading scorer was Jordan Mathis with 18 points, and Faith Mason-Vestal contributed 10 rebounds. 

    At the conclusion of the first round of district, the Lady Jackets are 7-0. 

    • JV was defeated 49-54. Scoring was Alyssa Blacknall with 18 points. 
    • Freshmen lost 23-43. Scoring was Emma Parr with 9 points. 

    Lady Jackets vs Mesquite Skeeters:

    • Lady Jackets swatted the visiting Mesquite Skeeters 47-23. The leading scorers were Jordan Mathis with 13 points, followed by Faith Mason-Vestal with a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. We are 6-0 in district. 
    • JV won 34-17. The leading scorer was Kasja Johnson with a double- double with 16 points and 25 rebounds. 
    • Freshman won 30-20. The leading scorer was Alexis Molthan with a double- double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. 

     

     


    Lady Jackets vs Tyler Lee's Lady Rebels:

    • The Lady Jackets defeated the Lady Rebels in a very intense battle 36-24. Leading the way was Jordan Mathis with 10 points. We are 5-0 in district. 
    • JV lost a buzzer beater 37-38. Scoring for us was Kasja Johnson with 11 points. 
    • Freshman lost 16-32. Scoring for us was Alexis Molthan with 7 points. 

     

    We would like to take a moment to honor our teachers who do so much not only in the classroom, but investing in our students outside of the classroom. These teachers make a daily impact on these girls.  Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication outside of your normal workday to better our girls and invest in their lives. Thank you for coming out and supporting us tonight. Great crowd!!!

     


    Lady Jackets vs Lady Jags from Horn:

    • Varsity Lady Jackets defeated Horn 59-41. Our leading scorer was Faith Mason-Vestal with a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, followed by Jordan Mathis who also had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Gloria Drewery had 12 points and 9 rebounds.  Emma Stelzer with 11 points.  We are 4-0 in district. 
    • JV won 43-32. Leading the way was Alyssa Blacknall with 13 points, followed by Lindsey Schale with 12 points. 
    • Freshman lost 17-41. Scoring was Samantha Childress with 7 points. 

    Lady Jackets vs. Lady Lobos

    • Varsity wins 59-39. Leading the way was Jordan Mathis with 23 points, followed by Gloria Drewery with 11 points. 
    • JV was defeated 39-49. Scoring was led by Kasja Johnson with 12 points and Rachel Ivanosky with 10 points. 
    • Freshman won 22-18. Leading the way was Alexis Molthan with 10 points. 

    Lady Jackets vs. Heath Lady Hawks.

    • Varsity played an exciting battle down to the last 4 seconds and won 40-39. Leading the way for us was Faith Mason-Vestal with 12 points. 
    • JV won 33–14. The leading scorer was Kasja Johnson with 12 points and 15 rebounds. 
    • Freshman won 33-31. Leading the way was Alexis Molthan with 12 points and 16 rebounds. 

    Aggieland Tournament

    Day 1: After a nice 3 hour drive down to College Station, our first game was against Kingwood. We started a little slow after having a six day break, but then we found our rhythm winning 50-28. Leading the way was Faith Mason-Vestal with 15 points, followed by Gloria Drewery with 13 points.  

    For our second game of the day, we played Clear Creek High School out of League City. This was a close game until halftime, then in true Lady Jacket fashion we took care of business winning 41-26. 

    Our leading scorer was Faith Mason-Vestal with 10 points. 

     

    Day 2: This afternoon we took on Spring and defeated them 53-40. Leading the way was Jordan Mathis with 17 points, followed by Emma Stelzer with 14 points and Faith Mason-Vestal with a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 

    Our second game today, was the semi-final game, played against Hendrickson. We lost 27-39. Scoring was Jordan Mathis with 8 points. 

    On the last day of the Aggieland Invitational tournament, we played our neighbor right down the road, Wylie East. It was a very close game and came down to the end.  Unfortunately the Lady Jackets were defeated 28-36. Our leading scorer was Jordan Mathis with 10 points. 

     

    We would like to thank all the parents and fans that drove down and supported us over the holidays and continue to support us during the season. 


    The Lady Jackets vs the John Tyler's Lady Lions.

    Tonight was a clean sweep for all the Lady Jackets against the Lady Lions.

    • Varsity defeated John Tyler 58-33. Leading the way was Jordan Mathis with 21 points, and Faith Mason-Vestal had 11 points.
    • JV won 30-21. Leading the way was Kasja Johnson with 16 points.
    • Freshman won 29-17. Leading the way was Anissa Kavazi and Alexis Molthan with 10 points each. 

    The Lady Jackets vs the Sachse Mustangs

    • Varsity looses 23-34. Leading scorer was Jordan Mathis with 9. 
    • JV won 28-24. Leading the way was Kasja Johnson with 16 points. 
    • Freshman lost 14-35. We had 3 girls with 4 points each.

    The Lady Jackets vs Frisco Reedy.

    • Varsity defeated the Lady Lions 45-38. Leading the way was Jordan Mathis with 22 points, followed by Emma Stelzer with 10 points. 
    • JV won 47-34. Tonight was a group scoring effort with Rachel Ivanovsky with 15 points, Alyssa Blacknall with 12 points, Kasja Johnson and Lindsey Schale both with 11 points.
    • Freshman won 31-22. Scoring tonight was Tristan Pettis with 10 points.  

    The Lady Jackets vs North Forney

    • The Varsity started their Thanksgiving break by carving up North Forney 52-32. Leading the way was Emma Stelzer with 12 points, followed by Mikki Witcher with 10 points.
    • JV won 40-28. Scoring for us was Alyssa Blacknall and Kasja Johnson both with 10 points.
    • Freshman lost a heartbreaker 26-28, and the leading scorer was Samantha Childress with 7 points. 

     

    We would like to say a special thank you, and say how thankful we are for all of you this Thanksgiving. The Lady Jackets will have a few days off to enjoy turkey and their families. The Lady Jackets wouldn’t be able to do what they do without your continued support and help. We hope you have a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving. 

     


     Your Varsity Lady Jackets did not miss a beat on their journey down victory road in the Flower Mound tournament.

    • The Varsity started their Friday defeating Lewisville in a nail-biting win 35-32. Leading scorer was Faith Mason-Vestal with 17 points. This victory placed the Jackets in the quarter finals facing off with Round Rock Cedar Ridge with a record of 9-1. Their stamina led them to a 45-33 victory clearing the path to the Championship game. Leading scorer was Jordan Mathis with 12. 
    • The team rallied together in the fourth to out score the Indians 12 to 4 bringing home the championship trophy in a 42-35 victory!
    • The Lady Jackets WON as ONE! Leading the Lady Jackets tonight was Emma Stelzer with 12 and Faith Mason-Vestal with 10. Receiving all tournament honors was Jordan Mathis. Faith Mason-Vestal was named MVP of the tournament.

    The Lady Jackets swept their home opener in an exciting fashion against Little Elm.

    • The Varsity won 62-34. Faith Mason-Vestal led the team with 12 points, followed by Jordan Mathis with 9 points and 10 rebounds. 
    • JV won 40-27. The leading scorer was Kasja Johnson with 12 points. 
    • Freshman won 42-16. The leading scorer was Tristan Pettis with 15 points.
