Readers Are Leaders

At Cullins Elementary “Readers are Leaders!”  The Cullins Elementary Librarian, Gabby Brown, challenged the students to read Bluebonnet Award Nominated books.  The kids were challenged to read 5 Bluebonnet Books and write a summary of each one.  The students that participated also voted on their favorite Bluebonnet Book.  They participated in their Bluebonnet Book Breakfast with Mrs. Brown to talk about their favorite book and cast their votes!  Kaitlyn Bui and Zoe Massey’s favorite was “Roller Girl” and Kaylee Fitzhugh’s favorite Bluebonnet book was “Crenshaw.”
