Title II funds have a major emphasis on the importance of teacher quality in approving student achievement. The funds are used to evaluate teacher and principal quality through recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies and provide job embedded professional learning opportunities. Rockwall ISD conducts an annual needs assessment to determine where the Title II funds should be spent.  This year's Title II funds are being used to hire two secondary coaches in the area of English/Language Arts and Math along with teacher and principal training throughout the summer and school year.
