Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching in Rockwall ISD.  We are currently accepting applications for substitute teachers.  We strive to employ the most qualified substitutes; therefore, those applicants with valid teaching certificates will be considered first.  In addition to substitute teachers, Rockwall ISD utilizes substitutes for paraprofessional clerical staff, classroom instructional assistants and our nursing staff.

Applicants who match our qualifications will be contacted via email and invited to attend a new substitute workshop.  All substitutes are required to be fingerprinted in accordance with Senate Bill 9.
