Each curriculum area and grade level has a designated framework for instruction at Rockwall ISD schools.  Rockwall’s curriculum is the State of Texas’ Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  The TEKS are bundled into units of study for each core content subject area and grade level.  The sequence of these units for RISD curriculum is listed in the Year at a Glance document for each core content below:
