Mission and Philosophy
The philosophy of science for the Rockwall ISD is to provide educational
opportunities in science to help all students achieve their highest potential
and become lifelong learners. The students will be provided with a learner
centered environment where they can experience hands on classroom, laboratory
and field investigations. Science education is an active process and students
from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade will use scientific inquiry methods to
develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. The students will be
presented with challenging questions and problems and they will use the
scientific method to find the answers.
