These are exciting times for Rockwall schools, earmarked by new leadership, rapid growth, and new facilities. The Board of Trustees and superintendent provide a bold vision to guide the community's schools.

Four Rockwall schools were named Texas Monthly’s Best Public Schools by the National Center for Education Accountability in 2007. Amy Parks-Heath Elementary, Grace Hartman Elementary, Howard Dobbs Elementary and Nebbie Williams Elementary were chosen for the honor.

Rockwall ISD is proud of the accomplishments of our schools and the district as a whole. The following ratings were awarded to RISD by the Texas Education Agency for the 2006-2007 school year.
