Mission Statement:
The superintendent’s office oversees the largest view of operations in the
district, including leadership for planning, operation, supervision and
evaluation of the education program, services, and facilities of Rockwall
schools. In any given day, the superintendent’s office sees a wide range of
issues and involving students and parents, district employees, community
members, and state officials. Because Dr. Burton believes in an “open-door”
policy, in many ways the department acts as a clearinghouse for issues, giving
attention and direction to matters concerning the district, and providing a
conduit for regular communication with school board members. |
