Mission Statement:
The Rockwall ISD Department of Policy, Planning, and Research maintains current and historical policy manuals, researches policy issues, and ensures that information in District handbooks is based on current law. The department guides District- and campus-level planning committees according to state law and complies with state-mandated planning reports. Other planning responsibilities include facilitating the Attendance Zone Task Force, Bond Election Steering Committee, Rockwall Higher Education Consortium, and Strategic Planning Committee. The department researches issues to provide reports requested by the Texas Education Agency, Board of Trustees, superintendent, community members and others.
