Rockwall ISD continues to experience enrollment growth at all grade levels. We anticipate approximately 15,000 students by 2012, and according to our demographer, Dennis Harner and Associates, Rockwall ISD can expect 20,000 students by the year 2020. In order to accommodate the growth by 2012, Rockwall ISD has begun construction of two elementary schools. In the future, a new middle school and a third high school or construction of a magnet school will commence.

In addition, we have begun land acquisition in the amount of $4,830,996 for 5 new elementary sites and 1 new middle school site.
