Mission Statement:
The department of Facilities Planning and Construction Services manages the planning and development of facilities within the district.  Our department oversees a wide range of ongoing projects such as capital improvement programs, demographic studies, long range planning and acquisitions of future expansion sites.  Typical activities in the course of any given week might include meetings with the district architect (SWH Group), consulting engineers, city officials, planning and zoning committees, construction and development contractors, architects and inspection officials.  Without the support and vision of our community, the important development of new educational facilities would not be possible.  The funds to initiate and complete currently planned new facilities originated in the 2006 bond program.
